Accounts Assistant

Due to continued growth across the group, we are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our small but friendly team to support to the accounts team and wider business to ensure the smooth and effective day to day accounts operation. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of accounts through associated tasks
  • Receiving and processing invoices, expense forms and requests for payment
  • Processing a high volume of BACS payments through internet banking
  • Maintain several companies' ledgers
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintaining spreadsheets
  • Updating balance sheet reconciliations

Person Specification:

  • AAT Level 4 Qualified
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail

The ideal candidate will have experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced accounts team. We use Sage Line 50, experience of using this software package is highly desired but not essential.
